Quick start guide
Get HeySynk up and running in under 30 minutes. Follow this guide to set up your workspace, install the chat widget, and start supporting customers with AI.
Before you begin
You'll need a HeySynk account. If you haven't signed up yet, start your 14-day free trial — no credit card required.
HeySynk runs in your browser — no software to install. The only code you'll add is the chat widget snippet on your website.
Step 1 — Create your workspace
Your workspace is your team's home in HeySynk. Each workspace has its own inbox, knowledge base, and settings.
Sign up
Go to heysynk.app and click Start Free Trial. Enter your email and create a password.
Name your workspace
Choose a workspace name (usually your company name) — this is your unique URL subdomain.
Set your brand
Upload your logo, set your brand colour, and write a greeting message for the widget.
Invite your team
Add agents by email. They'll receive an invitation to join your workspace.
Step 2 — Install the chat widget
The HeySynk widget is a single JavaScript snippet. Paste it before the closing </body> tag on your website.

</script>Replace YOUR_WORKSPACE_ID with the ID from Settings → Widget in your HeySynk dashboard.
Step 3 — Configure HeySynk AI
HeySynk AI is enabled by default. To configure it, go to Settings → HeySynk AI.
- AI Reply — Generates a complete response. Agent clicks once to send.
- AI Suggest — Drafts a reply for the agent to review and edit before sending.
- Auto-translation — Detects incoming language and translates both directions.
- CSAT auto-flag — Alerts agents when a rating of 2 stars or below is received.
Step 4 — Connect your channels
Go to Settings → Channels to connect WhatsApp, Gmail, Facebook, Instagram, Slack, and Outlook. Pro and Scale plans include all 11 integrations.
All connected channels feed into the same shared inbox — one view for every conversation, everywhere.
Step 5 — Build your knowledge base
A knowledge base helps customers self-serve and gives HeySynk AI more context to answer questions. Go to Knowledge Base → New Article to start writing.
Use the AI writing tools built into the editor to draft, improve, or expand articles in seconds.
You're live!
Once the widget snippet is on your site, HeySynk is live. Customers can chat, your team can reply from the inbox, and HeySynk AI is there for every message.
